Dear Student,

Greetings! We are using this medium to share with you a copy of the State Authorization and Student Location Policy. The purpose of this policy is to outline Hope College of Arts and Sciences process for collecting and reporting student location data in accordance with federal, state, and National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements ("NC-SARA"). A student's location impacts enrollment eligibility for educational programs, depending on State authorization or other requirements by the agencies with jurisdiction. In addition, we disclose to applicants and students whether our academic programs, including those delivered via distance education, meets the licensure or certification requirements of the States in which the applicant or student is located and/or intends to practice their profession. For these reasons, Hope College of Arts and Sciences asks all students to formally communicate and document their location by the time of initial enrollment and whenever they have a change of location.

Kindly take the time to review the policy. Should you have any questions or concerns, please email compliance@dp.hcas.edu. Information sessions are going to be held on September 11, 12 and 14, 2023 at 5:00 PM via Zoom to discuss the questions shared. The invite is sent to your email. Acknowledge receipt by confirming your response.
